If you’re reading this with a familiar tightness creeping up the back of your neck, I want you to know something right away: you are not imagining it, and you are not stuck with it.
I’ve spent more than thirty years here on Tutt Street in Kelowna sitting across the desk from people who know the dark room intimately — the curtains drawn in the middle of the afternoon, the phone face-down, the bottle of something within arm’s reach.
They’ve often been told, in one way or another, that this is just how their body is. I don’t believe that. And I’d like to show you why.
That’s what my free webinar, The Headache Fix, is about.
The Thing Almost Nobody Looks At
Here’s what surprises most people who finally come in: the headache you feel in your head very often doesn’t start there.
Run your fingers up to the base of your skull, to that soft hollow where the head meets the neck. A great many headaches and migraines are quietly born right there — in the muscles and joints of the upper neck.
The pain announces itself at the temples or behind the eyes, so that’s where we point when someone asks where it hurts. But the trouble is usually one floor down, building pressure long before it ever reaches your forehead.
When those top vertebrae drift out of alignment, they can disturb the blood flow and nerve flow traveling through that narrow, crucial passage to the brain. The body protests — as a headache, or a full migraine.
And here’s the part that keeps people trapped: it becomes a cycle. A small misalignment creates tension, the tension pulls your posture out of true, the poor posture feeds the misalignment, and the whole thing winds a little tighter each time it goes around.
That’s why the pills can feel like they’re not enough. A pain reliever can quiet the alarm for a few hours, but it was never designed to touch the wiring underneath.
The good news is that once you can see the cycle clearly, you can also see exactly where it can be broken.
What We’ll Cover, Together
In about an hour, in plain language and with no fearmongering, I’ll walk you through:
- Why recurring headaches so often start in the upper neck — not the head
- The cycle that keeps them coming back, and where it can be broken
- What gentle care actually feels like (and why the fear fades fast)
- A few simple things you can start doing this very week
- When a headache means it’s time to get properly assessed
I’ll also share a little of the surprising history — because caring for the spine to ease pain isn’t new or fringe. Hippocrates wrote about it. Healers across the ancient world practiced it. It’s one of the oldest forms of care there is. There’s something reassuring in that, and I think you’ll feel it too.
Bring Your Questions
This isn’t a lecture you sit through quietly. Bring whatever’s on your mind.
Come with your camera and microphone off if you’d rather just listen — there’s no pressure, and no hard sell. My only goal is for you to leave understanding your own headaches better than when you arrived.
Want to Go Deeper? Upgrade to a VIP Ticket
The webinar is free. But when you register, you’ll have the option to upgrade to a VIP ticket at the time of purchase — and if you’re the kind of person who wants to actually do something about your headaches, it’s worth a look.
Your VIP ticket includes:
- A PDF copy of our booklet — the complete written guide to everything we cover, with the self-checks, the exercises, and the steps you can refer back to for years. It’s the natural companion to the live session, yours to keep.
- A Meet-and-Greet with live Q&A, held directly after the webinar — a smaller, more personal session where you can ask me your specific questions and get real answers, rather than wondering afterward whether yours would have made the list.
If your headaches have been running your life, the VIP option is the closest thing to sitting across the desk from me — booklet in hand, questions answered. You choose your ticket level right at checkout when you register, so there’s nothing extra to figure out later.
